Spiritual Transformation

The most challenging and spiritually transformative experience of my life has been building court cases related to my investigative work.

I felt a personal duty to honor every U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer who trained me and helped shape the man I became. I sought to fuse those skills with my study of the law so that my service could continue beyond defending the body of this nation during active duty, toward defending the spirit of this nation in the years following my retirement.

January 2026 through April 2026 became a training phase in which I witnessed the strengths, weaknesses, and strategies deployed by the Iowa Attorney General’s Office regarding Chapter 22, Chapter 216, and § 17A.19 litigation. During that process, I realized it was time to let go of my personal grievances regarding events that evolved from the concealment of my children across California, Iowa, and Montana and defend something greater than myself.

As documented within the Iowa press, the State of Iowa fired many torpedoes in its attempt to halt my work. My current phase is focused on strengthening myself physically and spiritually, studying theological principles to determine the direction I wish to take in life, and preparing for the torpedoes still to come.

I have scheduled a meeting with a local Lutheran minister because I wish to pursue, study, and stand upon a more classical theological foundation as I determine the path ahead.

What fuels and drives me is defending others from experiencing the losses my family endured.
