The greatest evidence of mercy and grace within the human condition is found when we recognize the reflection of our own humanity in those who became our adversaries while navigating the mire, and choose to carry the weight of their sin within our own lives so that they may be spared from the eternal fire.
“Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
