In a World Consumed in Apathy, Tears in The Rain Fall as Snow

Freedom is an illusion that is provided as long as members of the populace do not find themselves at cross purposes with those who administer it. Within a republic that uses rhetoric to excuse or redirect attention away from deviations from constitutional frameworks, freedoms are nothing more than a paradigm that takes the form of whatever lie elected and appointed leadership currently deploys to achieve its personal, professional, or political desires.

The State’s deception does not manifest a conclusion within the souls of the honorable, the courageous, and the committed. It simply produces the next investigative question. Do the acts of a lawful and passionate citizen, in pursuit of answers that create moral complexity and difficulty for the State, warrant and authorize the State to violate the law to defend and justify itself?

Do the lies that the evidence supports as having been produced by those who administer the State serve the people, or do they protect the agendas, desires, or failures of those we have trusted to administer it? With each lie the State has yet to tell, the next ten evidentiary data points brought forth through proper investigation will reveal Truth far more costly than what the original lie sought to conceal (Civic Investigative Attrition Theorem).

Suppose Heaven is the only Kingdom that manifests Truth. In that case, it would be reasonable to conclude that only a fool blindly trusts and serves a nation of this Earth. A republic that adheres to its constitutional framework only when it’s convenient manifests only an illusion for its citizens. Deceptive acts do not manifest noble sums; they only produce strategic (war) or political (peace) desires. The truth scattered across this Earth’s historical record reveals that a republic that requires a foundation of deceit to stand has already fallen (submitted argument to Reference 1).

The most sobering moment within the soul of a veteran of a democracy is returning home and realizing that the philosophical conscience they spent their life defending may never have truly existed. At the same time, there is nothing more spiritually purifying than entering a battlefield knowing you have already lost, but doing so because your beliefs and the love for those you serve dictate it must be done.

The Form of the Constitutional Knight

Darkness may beckon within the souls of those who serve themselves. However, darkness and those it seduces into service will never prevail within a republic as long as there is one with the honor, courage, and commitment required to bring Light and defend equal justice for all of God’s children.

The Form of Eternity After the Final Deployment

A man can commit his entire life to defending a nation’s border and its soul, yet the only true home that patiently waits for his return is the spiritual eternity that exists within the heart of the woman he dedicates his life to. She who holds and defends his soul as he defends her body.

This is the kingdom I have spent my life serving. I will not retire from the battlefield until I find her, so that we may build a new home together, not of this world.
